We are staying just west of Steamboat Springs, Colorado at Eagle Soaring Rv Park till after the labor day weekend. We lived in this community for 10 years prior to starting fulltiming in August of 2003. We have many friends and relationships here. It is great to be back.

With the economy the way it is we could buy our home back for less than we sold it! We do not want to contend with the average of 35 feet of snow they get here every winter so we will continue to live in our Winnebago.

I am going to post some photos of our favorite places as we get to see them again. We have a 4x4 pickup, inflatable boat and atv that travel with us to get to our favorite places.

Our Polaris RZR going thru some tight trails on the Ellis Trail and the top of Farwell Mountain looking Southwest.

The beetle kill on a certain species of pine is taking a devastating toll on the landscape around here. It is amazing to see the change in the short 3 years since we have been here last.

We were at Dillon Lake last summer and were amazed at the amount of beetle kill. I guess we have the wrong kind of pine down here in SW Colorado because we don't seem to have the pine tree die off.

I was mowing my friends grass strip this morning and got some shots of them doing some touch and goes.
