On my Denali RK292 there is a fixture under the trailer on the door-side that the manual jack handle will fit; however there is nothing in any of the literature as to what it is, what it connects to, and when I turn it in an exploratory way it doesn't appear to be the manual crank for the slide out.

OH GREAT knowledge givers of the RV Forum...any ideas?

Nope...that's on the tongue....the connected bar runs up into the undercover into the kitchen area, but its not the hot water heater, 'fridge, (too far back) or furnance (on the side of the trailer, but in the same general area). If you look at the brochure picture you can see the access hole under the small kitchen window....http://www.dutchmen.com/media/documents/archives/OlderLit/2009/2009%20Denali%20Floorplan%20Guide.pdf

That's what my friends and I think it might be....just didn't want to go cranking on it and mis-align or bugger something up. Looks like I need to breakdown and call Dutchman. :-\

I had a manual crank for the slide on an old King of the Road, but most newer rigs no longer have such a thing.

I guess a call to Dutchman is going to be needed.

Yup...just called Dutchman apparently this is the manual crank access point for the living area slide (appears that the bedroom slide manual crank is under the bed...need to check that out); thanks everyone for the guesses.
