Quartzsite here we come ! Looking to meetup with someone

We are heading to Quartzsite this coming Sunday 1-9-2011, hope to be there on the 11th or 12th at the latest. We plan on staying a couple weeks, depending on the fun factor. This will be our first trip and we would like to meet some people with common interests. We are in our early to mid 50's, semi retired and love to travel with or 5vr and 2 dog's. We take our Polaris RZR ATV when we can. From what I've read I think the plan would be to stay in the LTV fee area so that we have access to water and dump station. Any ideas or thoughts would be a help. Also would like to hook up for a beer and maybe hang out and watch some football.

Hi Rich, we will be in Quartzite about the same time, staying at Plamosa Rd, area 5 miles from Quartzite, there is a beer tent close to the big tent (RV show), maybe see you there.

We'll be getting to QZ on the 16th, after leaving the FMCA rally in Indio, CA, staying in the usual forum gathering spot in Tyson Wash LTVA. See Bob Buchanan's postings as to time and directions.

There are lots of areas to ride the RZR. We are in Lake Havasu. Will be in Quartzsite for the big RV tent. We have a Rzr. Will camp north of town at Plamosa Road. Dutchstar MH, Blue Jeep Rubicon, Gray RZR-s.

If you have never been to Quartzsite before, it will be a fun experience for you.  There is no way you'll be able to just look for someone; there are thousands upon thousands of RVs of all kinds out there.  If you would like to join in with the RVForum, you can get detailed directions on the Quartzsite 2011 thread which will lead you to Bob Buchanan's website for detailed directions.  Be sure and read the beginning of the thread.  You can find it here

We are a great fun group to hang out with and everyone is invited.  So, check the thread, sign up and have a great time.  Unfortunately, we won't be there this year; but it's always a fun time.
