I have been in the hobby for about 15 years now, and since have had 6-8 helicopters, 13 planes,  4 boats, and 2 trucks. i am currently on plane #14. got rid of the rest of them.. my current plane is a 1/4 scale anderson kingfisher (9ft wing span) with a zenoa 38 engine swinging a 3 blade prop. futaba standard servos and a turnigy 9x radio system..

Cool, I bring about 4 planes with me, heres a flight over Mequite Nevada, using glider and go-pro camera

I enjoyed that video, was hoping to see the approach and landing though.....

I used to really want to get into RV aviation.  No money when i was younger, then ended up getting my Private Pilot License instead many years ago.  Now I can't afford to do that anymore, so have often thought of RC.....
But it always strikes me that it would be fun for 20 minutes, then not so much.
The go pro camera gives another dimension to it though!

Some people use television goggles and a live video feed from the camera  to enhance the experience. You can get systems that give you a heads-up display on altitude, heading, battery power, speed, etc.
