Yes, problem solving, creativity,  the wonder of the human brain. Seriously.
On that subject, I am currently looking for solar-powered roof vent. A unit with a small solar panel to power a fan.
Easy to install and (if possible)  not too expensive  ::)
Any suggestion? Thank you

but asking if this stainless steel vent would be ok for salty water?
Then, was wondering, how about a solar powered roof vent to be permanent for summer as well as winter on an RV roof ?
To resist hot and cold temperatures, wind, snow, rain ?
 
Yes, looking at amazon reviews, it seems that a do-it-yourself would be cheaper.
Like for example a 12-Volt stand alone Fan -  http://amzn.to/2bcyzwl  - (4.4/5 stars, over 500 reviews) connected to solar panels.
