Hi  folks,  im  new  here and have  an old tioga that is leaking around  a front window,  this is  a cabover  window  (class c)  .  What is the type of caulk i should use to  seal the window once i remove it and clean it all up  and  get ready to reinstall.    thanks

At most (if not all) RV supply stores is a material we called "Monkey Stuff" in the Navy ("stuff" being replaced by another term commonly used by sailors). Ask for Putty Tape. This is likely the same "stuff" used originally. Comes in rolls.

Also available at Home Depot in a calking tube, (butyl rubber) black or white, very easy to clean up excess with mineral spirits.>>>Dan

I went to Camping World and got this putty tape. I removed the window. There were about 12 screws inside popped it out and cleaned all of the old putty off. Applied new putty set window and last trimmed off excess putty from the outside window trim. Easy but have someone push the window out from inside and you can grab it on the outside.
