road conditions on I-10 from Baton Rouge to north Florida

we will be traveling via I-10 from Baton Rouge to north Florida and need to know about road conditions and campgrounds you might suggest---any advice will be appreciated--we plan to leave 2 days after Thanksgiving--again ---thanks

The stretch from New Orleans to the state line is in pretty rough shape even for Louisiana. It is passable but take your time and watch for sharp "dips". The last time through, a couple of months ago, I had some pretty good jolts. After the intersection of I-10 and I-59 I can't comment on.
