RV Newbs in TX ready for New England

Hi, as a family we've done a lot of local camping in a pop-up, but now we're interested in something more.  We are looking at planning a New England trip with 8 people this Fall.  My main reason for joining this site is to get the low down on how to go about planning that kind of a trip.

Oh... the introduction

We are a home school family from TX.  My wife and I with 5 kids (4 at home).  We love camping and hanging around on our "farm". We currently own a very nice pop-up camper.

Not on topic but have you seen the Tim Hawkins video about the HomeSchool Family?? Your description brought that to mind and I smiled.

Are planning to take the popup or rent/buy something larger??

yes Tim Hawkins is hilarious!

The pop-up will not go.  We are considering selling it, but that doesn't affect how we plan this trip.  We'll likely rent something for this trip.
