Our daughter is getting married in May at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.  Any campground recommendations? I read an older thread that recommended the Oasis, but it was from 2007, so not sure if it is still there? We will be there for 6-7 days.  Are advance reservations necessary? We have a 5th wheel, so we will have the truck for transportation, but what about shuttles, golf cart rentals, etc? Thanks!

The oasis is a very nice CG. lovely entrance, 60/night for pull through parking back in 2007 likely more now

Main street casino may still have a much more reasonable lot,  Call and ask for hotel reservations

Circus Circus CG is now a KOA  also expensive, and it's a paved lot, Not the greatest but it's close to everything I was able to WALK to Ceasar's palace from there.  Many of the other Casino's (Sam's, Arizona Charlie's and so on) have CG's as well. but they are a long way off from L.V. Bvld. and C-P.

I'm not sure what else is there without checking.

NOTE: If your daughter would like a flutist at her wedding and/or reception..... I can forwared her E-dress to one who lives in Las Vegas and works as a dealer in Paradise. That is basically just across the street (las Vegas Bvld) from Ceasar's palace (Actually it is across both L.V.Bvld and the cross street)

Outdoor Resorts is a really nice motorcoach park, albeit a little pricey.

There is a coupon available HEREfor Las Vegas Outdoor Resorts that gives 25% off.

Is this resort for Class A motorhomes only?  We have a 34ft. Montana 5th wheel.

Thanks John....I'm not sure what their plans are for the music but I will pass along this information!

Jack and Betsy,

Some of the Outdoor Resorts parks allow only class A motorhomes, while others have different restrictions. I don't recall the restrictions in LV, but a phone call would confirm it (866) 897-9300. They now call themselves Signature Resorts Las Vegas.

Dont forget, if you are a member of RPI you can book (well in advance) Outdoor Resorts in LV for just $10/night (2006 price).

Oasis is also an RPI park, however for 8 bucks you get the back in or nose to tail sites.. for full price you get pull through

I also forgo to mention that Oasis has an arrangement I think with Harra's casino chain,  They run a shuttle several times a day from the CG to all the Harra's casinos..  Last I checked this included Bally's and Paris. however. there is a bid to boy at least one of those so who knows what will happen in a month

That's basically across Las Vegas Bvld from Ceasar's

On your map Oasis is between US 15 and Las Vegas Bvld on the road which is Blue Diamond Hwy (West of US-15) I think it has a different name on the east side of US-15  NOTE that the address of the place is the driveway name, not the street name

Easy off, Easy on

Main Street Casino lot is just west of the Fire Department and centeral Transist (Bus) terminal off Main street north of the Califorinan , it is walking distance to Freemont Street Experience

John,  I don't know what RPI is....assuming some type of discount program. Is it available for 5th wheels as well as motorhomes? Any info is appreciated!

Resort Parks International

If you are a member of a membership campground (IE: Thousand Trails, which I strongly suspect you are NOT a member of since if you were you'd not be asking for parks in Las Vegas, or "Outdoor Adventures" or a Whole host of other camp grounds) you can also join RPI.  with RPI if you are a member of an RPI family park you can park at any other RPI park for a very nice rate.

There is another assoication of assoications called Coast to Coast..  Same idea,  Many of the same parks,  Many different ones

Our son Lives in LV and we have had occassion to drive through the Oasis Resort ...Sort of a... in the future we could stay her kind of thing....Seems to be a beautiful resort ...alll the amenities and relatively convenient to the Strip... The signature place seems to be more of a high end resort as opposed to a campground ...Also  Oasis has a great web site ..just search for Oasis Las Vegas... Our daughter also got married at Ceasars Palace ...those in attendance told it it was the best wedding they had ever seen. The Chapels are beautiful and the staff were extremely helpful..small reception at Joes Crab also in Ceasars food and view were awesome!!!  Congratulations to you all and hope it goes well....

I was there a couple of weeks ago and Main street station has "down-sized"  their camping.

Downsized how much? And which part? It wasn't all that big from the last time they downsized.

While driving in Arizona the other day we saw an interesting billboard.  It was for the Arizona Charlie's RV Park and said new location.  We thought this RV park had been eliminated but they must have moved it to elsewhere on their property.  This is the one on Boulder Highway in Henderson and it has 200 sites.  It's another option, although less convenient to the Strip than either the Oasis, the Signature (formerly Outdoor Resorts of Las Vegas), or Circus Circus.  The Sam's Town website says they have two RV parks with over 500 sites.  It's also on Boulder Highway and is not far from Arizona Charlie's.

FYI there's another Arizona Charlie's on the west side (on Decatur) but they don't have an RV park.  The one on Boulder Highway is called Arizona Charlie's Boulder and the one on Decatur is called Arizona Charlie's Las Vegas.

Oasis is very nice but expensive. Stayed there three times in the last year.  Sam's town is away from the strip but is half the price and not as nice.
