We are needing to store our 42? fifth wheel and truck for two months somewhere around the Houston area beginning mid February for two months. We thought we had a storage place booked but in calling to reconfirm, the owner is not returning our calls. And random calls to other storage lots are not proving fruitful. Anyone have any suggestions or know of any place? Thanks in advance for any help.

I would check around north of Houston, there are a lot of big boat and RV storage places around Lake Conroe, and perhaps a some commercial RV campgrounds that have on site storage around Lake Livingston.

Everything close in to Houston is quite expensive. If you need covered storage, we used Bear Creek RV Storage on the NW side.  We were at the #2 location, which is a nice, new, gated facility.  They may have outdoor storage also, but with Houston's unpredictable weather and heat, I'd feel better with it inside.

Thanks for the replies. The lot we originally contacted finally called back and still has space for us so we are hoping despite the no contact for over a week, the RV and truck will be safe there. Since we return mid-April, we were more concerned with cold weather than hot. And we were wanting uncovered storage so our solar could keep a few things in the RV running while we are gone (like the fridge).
