I'm having a hard time sourcing Stabond E-183 here at all much less for a reasonable price. So I'm hoping the spray foam adhesive will be sufficient.

I'm also wondering if anyone has tips on how to get the luon off the filon where it's not rotted. I used a oscillating tool with a scraper for most of the rotted and semi-rotted stuff but where the sheet is still intact, it's pretty tough to get off. Granted it's only about 1/4 of the luon on the whole thing that's not rotted to some extent, but that 1/4 is going to give me hours of trouble, I have a feeling. I'm wondering if I can somehow leave it on without making a really noticeable ridge on the outside...

I'm going to use metal roofing screws when I put it back on, they're white and have washers for sealing so I think I'll get away without making it look too awful. I suppose I could also cover the rows of screws with some white butyl tape.

I plan on using 3M 1357 adhesive to glue the filon to plywood. I rebuilt my rear wall on my 5th wheel camper and sheeted it with 1/4" 4x8 plywood, to which I will glue a new sheet of filon. I had to purchase a 10 ft long piece although I really only needed 8ft 2in in length but choices in length were at 2ft increments. I attempted to remove the delaminated luan plywood from the original filon sheet using a multi-tool, adhesive solvents but it was too labor intensive and I was limited by available working area outside in the weather. I was pretty successful for awhile using a belt sander on the difficult parts but the filon wound up getting damaged, cracked in a few places due to poor support while working on it. So, I opted for a new sheet of filon from RecPro, shipped in a roll of 8.5 ft wide, 10 ft long.
Good Luck
