Shade for Motorhome window

Our Motorhome didn?t come with a pull down windshield shade and I want to have one placed.  I keep getting the runaround when I ask any of the RV places.    One said you can?t put one in due to possible wire that could be located up there.    Any ideas?

Lets start with what type of RV are we talking about...Year, make, and model.

It wouldn't hurt to include a picture of the area you want to install the windshield shade.

Based on the configuration, you may need to put in 2.  The more curved windshields don't conform to a one piece shade.  In my Southwoind  used 3.  My Winnebago I expected to use 2 based on the curve.  In my next coach there will be 1.

Lots of ways to ion the dash and look up for obstructions.  I bought a piece of lumber 1x2 by 8' to see if a 1 piece would work.  It wouldn't.  Hence the 2.
