Wonderful Cass - thanks for keeping us informed throughout your odyssey.

Likewise, thanks to all on this forum who offered suggestions in helping me get to the solution.

I hope my solution will make it easier for others who will have this problem with more of the new operating system coaches hitting the road.

Just a brief post script on the slapping noise.

We are now on our first trip since the repair & what a difference!

I actually found myself having to put a CD in the player to keep from dozing off on the interstate yesterday - it was so quiet!  :)

That's a great report, safe and fun miles to you.

Thanks!  Wish we were in the mountains in CO like you this time of year,  but maybe eventually.  For now, we're having a great time in state parks in FL - this weekend Lake Louisa State Park & having a great time.  :)

I have a 2013 Vista and the slides creak while driving. I notified Lippert directly in Feb. of this year and was told by a Jennifer that the engineering dept. was aware of this and was working on a fix. Most dealer service are not familiar with this new design and have not been trained yet. The twin servo motor design is nice but there are some bugs to be worked out.
