Smart Car coming to US in 2008

Seen a few in TC Mich when were there too.

Have seen them at a dealership on Telegraph Road (state of Michigan) and several in parking lots.  They are very basic on the inside.  Like the exterior style.  Think I will stick with my Prius, more room and better MPG.  I have gotten 48 mpg for the first 3,300 miles I have driven it.  That is with my medium weight lead foot.

Is there any advantage to dinghy towing a Smart Car, versus any other towable compact vehicle already in general production?
