It's been two decades since I traveled there, but we found places to top up our tanks now & then. Filling stations and even a outfitter shop. Folks tend to be accommodating if you are buying fuel or food and ask politely. The "free water" may just be an old hose on the side of a ramshackle building, but we weren't fussy. But if you are hoping for a list of brand name stops that advertise water or sewer services, I suspect you will be disappointed. We stayed in a campground of some sort every 2-4 days to get our tanks & batteries taken care of. And enjoy the amenities.
