Suncruiser 18000 lbs workhorse p32 chassis rear leaf springs weak, running on the bump stops, has anybody any experience of fitting another leaf to the springs. Is there any reason why i shouldn,t. thanks bill.

Sure have been there. Take it to a spring shop you won't even have to dicuss it . They will tear apart and evaluate in about five minutes. A good spring shop not general repair will have everything you need  to rebuild , re arch the old leaves ,change u bolts and you will be on your way in no time. When I say spring shop I mean for large trucks. They are usually extremely well set up ,very efficient and fair on pricing. The sooner you address it the better. The longer you wait the greater the bill will be. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply gib, have fitted air springs at the moment to alleviate the problem ,tho realize need to do something long term, like add a spring or replace springs.bill.
