I have a new 2010 Fleetwood Terra it has what they call heated holding tanks.  My question is how good is the tank heating system in these coaches.  If I leave the furnace on at say 60 degrees to what temperature am I safe.  Also how much propane should I expect to use running just the furnace

The heated holding tanks really have nothing to do with the rv furnace.  Normally they are electric heat strips and how good they are depends on where they are located.  If they are in an an area that is heated they would work better than those exposed to the elements.  The biggest propane use in an rv is the furnace, so depending on how cold it is, you could have to refill the tank every few days.
