Liz, we are headed to the Denver area from Santa Fe later in the week. Is that Cottonwood lake anywhere along that route? Were you fly fishing again?

Cottonwood Lake is about 5 miles west of Buena Vista, CO. To get to BA, you head west on Hwy 50 from Pueblo to US 285 at Salida. Then north on 285/24 to BA. Cottonwood Lake is in the San Isabel National Forest. No, the guys were not fly fishing. But most of the fish were caught with salmon eggs(Cole's choice) and something called a woolybugger(Jack's choice).
