This is one of many RV tech subjects where something that is unarguably a good thing (balancing a tire) has debatable practical value and may not be worth the extra expense or effort. Rotating RV tires is another, and there are dozens more examples. If time and money are unlimited, one can err on the side of caution and take every measure that might prevent some future issue, but few of us have that luxury. Therefore we make choices about where to expend our limited resources, and the debates we have here provide perspectives on the value of each. No right or wrong answer, in my opinion.
