Tires..to LT or not LT

we have a 27' Tioga class C, with the 16" wheels on Ford E350 chassis - we run Michelin XPS Rib tires - load range E. Tried a different set once, hated the noise - went back right away to Michelin XPS Rib. These age out on us before wearing out. 20 years with this RV, on 4th set of tires. Not the cheapest, but nice and smooth and quiet.

Most of the expense is because they are steel cased and retreadable.
