Toad speedometer/milage meter while towing?

While flat towing, does the toad mileage meter record the miles as when it is being driven?

It depends on the vehicle make/model, but nearly all modern vehicles use an electronic signal to record mileage and speed, so nothing happens unless the key is on and usually the engine running. Older vehicles with a mechanical speedometer cable system will record miles while in tow.

    I have a 2003 Jeep and it does not log the miles while towing.

As always, if we knew what you were towing, someone with a similar rig could give you the exact answer. With no idea what you're towing we're all shooting in the dark.

Ford Explorers and Saturns don't log miles.
