I need help on selecting a dingy for my motor home. It is 26 feet long with two slide outs. My wife and I want a small, but not to small, car to tow. I recently found out that some cars can be towed on four wheels while others need a dolly for two wheels.
Any advice will be appreciated.

What is the tow rating of the motorhome? It will be some number of pounds, e.g. 3500, 4000, etc. If your don't know the spec numbers, what year/make/mode is it? Maybe we can help figure it out.

To add to what Gary just said.. My hitch says 5,000 pounds, but my tow rating is 4,000, that is the max combined gross vehicle weight (26.000 pounds for my rig)- the actual gross weight of the motor home itself..(22,000).

And if you use a drop/rise hitch adapter to level out the tow bar, or any kind of hitch extension...The 5,000 goes down.. fast.
