Anyone have a tongue drum. My DW is interested about getting one but wasn?t sure if it was easy to play. She use to play a guitar a little, not professionally.

They are percussion instrument. If she is not a percussionist, it may be a tough change.
Ask her to beat different rhythms with both hands at the same time. If she can't do that, it may be tough.
They are functionally close to a steel drum.
