Starting in Southeastern Ohio we traveled to Warriors Path State Park MOODY BLUFF CAMPGROUND in Kingsport Tennessee. The trip was uneventful, though finding the campground after dark was a challenge. Moody bluff is not indicated on any of the maps, it’s very new. If you’re going here’s where you can find it:

Moody Bluff is a full hookup really nice place. Brand new.

From Kingsport we traveled to Dreher Lake State Park in Prosperity, SC. There was a fishing tournament the day we checked in which was interesting. Lots of boats. Then they were gone and we had the park to ourselves!

From Dreher Lake State Park we headed to HUNTING ISLAND STATE PARK in Beaufort, SC. HUNTING ISLAND STATE PARK is located on a barrier island off the coast of South Carolina. We loved it there. We could hear the ocean from our campsite and we were pretty deep into the park. Each campsite had enough growth around where you felt like you were alone there.

We like architecture and old buildings and Beaufort offered plenty to see.

We typically travel South & West along the Gulf coast and out to TX during winter months, but really need to get down that way one of these years as well. Great images and write-ups.

ps-- you might want to include links that go back/forth between your split post so readers can easily navigate between the two. Just a thought...
