I tell true cop stories LIke one pair of troopers clearing a new coffee shop wrote a ticket to a violator about half a block away.. The overhead on their car (Twin 100 Watt aircraft laning light) painting the store as they sat there. Gave the guy back his papers (including his copy of ticket) and off to their patrol area they went.
The violator was not done violating. He pulls into the coffee shop. Dons his stocking mask and demands all the money... Of course the next pair of troops arrived just as he cleared. and a "Welcoming comittee" was awaiting him at what used to be his home (His new home.. Well you know where that was.. At least it had a very sure door.. No key but a secure door).
