Drove to DC yesterday to see the cherry blossoms. They peaked on the 17th which was early. Lots of folks there. We had lunch at Old Ebbits Grill. It was very good but also expensive. The handsome young man in the photo is our grandson. We took him out of school to go with us. We toured the African American museum. We didn’t need a ticket or reservation since I’m a veteran.

We lived in DC four years and I really enjoyed going to see those trees every year. They are amazing for sure.
Your grandson will remember them forever. I think it's really good to take kids places like you have.
