We did it again with a dog

I thought the last dog we had was the last one. We went about 8 months with no pet. It was great so I thought. We could come and go as we pleased and not have to worry about a pet. I thought my DW and I were on the same page. I guess not.

We got another one. This one is a mixed Maltese and Chihuahua. It’s called a Tea Cup Malchi. You can look it up. We took him home at 8 weeks old and he weighed 1.8 lbs. Their vet said he should end up between 4/5 lbs. He is now about 11 weeks old and he weighs about 2.3 lbs using our bathroom scale. He goes to our vet next week for his 2nd shot. He’ll get weighed again on a more accurate scale.

Love seeing puppy pictures. I also said no more dogs 10 years ago after losing Sheba. 4 months later we got Ace. He turns 10 Nov.4. We said no more dogs when he is gone then I had a special needs French Bulldog dropped on me. So after Rex (french bulldog) is gone we wont get any more dogs. Cant turn them away.

When our Mom cockapoo had her third litter, I made wooden steps between the two whelping pens. Every morning, this was my welcoming committee (on the top step) when I got up.
