So happy for you and your family!  Proud of you that you'd make this choice when there could have been reasons to not take the plunge. Here's to many happy memories being made!

It may sound crazy but I'd hire a RV tech/mobile service guy to come over and look the roof over really well for potential leak areas. Let him work through it with your husband so he learns too. A lot of people seem to end up with water damage 2, 3 or 4 years later. The water leak didn't start 3 years later, they just noticed that the floor is soft 3 years later.  They say that there are two types of RV......those that have leaked and those that are going to leak. 

Look very very closely around areas where they have cut and sealed. I have seen sloppy razor cuts that extend beyond the Dicor area.
