What are these for?

on the top picture, the tongue of the trailer has vertical white tubes welded to it. My TT has the same tubes and I have no idea what they're for.  Can anyone help me?

I have no idea! And we even owned  Layton quite a few years ago!  Hopefully somebody else has those tubes and can end the mystery.

isn't that where you put your  anti sway bars, or load lever bars too?

It's hard to see, but just forward of the tubes in question there is a black spot on the tongue.  That is where the WDH Spring bars go.  Just forward of that is another black spot where the sway bar goes.

After further research it seems like these are holders for the spring bars when they are not in use.

Right - when you disconnect, you store the equalizing bars in those tubes.  But it only works with the bars like the Eaz-Lift that have a round end. Trunnion-end bars like the Reese Dual Cam won't fit.

I just laid my Reese dual-cam bars crosswise on the A-frame.  Mine fit between the propane tanks and batteries, this one looks like it has room behind the batteries.
