What older motor homes are the best?

That article just proves anybody can get published on the internet.  There are benefits to not having slides if you like your coach to be more usable while underway, but don't fear the slide.  They can make for a very pleasurable floor plan when parked.

And the site that the author referenced leaves a lot to be desired too.
 
We have an older 1995 Winnebago Luxor, you might give one of them a look if you can find one. 37' dp with no slides. we didnt see the need for slides or the extra maintenance that accompanies them since there are only two of us, At the time these were made they were among the high end A's.  If you google them I think there is a sales brochure on line somewhere with a great description.
