where to park in Savannah Gorgia

We are a couple of Canadian 60 year old zoomers who love the USA.

We are looking for an inexpensive spot to park our roadtrek in Savannah Georgia

fo 1 month in Janurary. Appreciate any and all advice we can get. Diane

There is a nice state park - Skidaway Island. Don't know if they let you stay a full month or not.

We have stayed at Savannah Oaks campground and loved it.  Nice with lots of trees and full facilities.  Quiet but close to everything.  However, I have a question. Do you realize that it is likely to be very cold in Savannah in January?  As a fellow Canuck who now lives in the US, I realize that Georgia looks like it is a long way south but they still get winter.  While you will get some nice days, you may also be scraping the windshield in the morning.  We will be in Florida, in the Bradenton area.  Last year, it was cold enough.
