1999 Minnie Winnie 22ft. The window with a slider thats aprox 30 in tall and 60 in wide sustained a broken pane today. It's the stationary pane not the one that slides. What do folks do to fix this? Is it best to replace the whole assembly or can glass shops replace the pane? Thanks, Ron

A glass shop should be able to replace the pane, but some automotive glass shops don't work on RV windows, probably due to lack of experiencing with them. RV windows are usually easy enough to remove and disassemble, but you have to do a couple to get the technique down pat.  One option is for you to remove the window and take it to the glass shop for the glass work,

Depending on the labor charges, sometimes its about the same cost to replace the entire window. And an easier DIY project.

Youtube has several videos showing the procedure.
