My friend and I are having an argument. My 2004 Forest River Cardinal 32ft fifth wheel is having its black tank fixed. It has metal sheeting underneath the whole trailer. We are taking out the part under the black tank and patching the tank, and then - I think - we should put that sheeting back. My friend says it's after-market and no RV needs a metal underbelly. Since he is the one who would be doing the work, the burden of proof is on me. I think it's there for insulation and protection. What saith this forum?
