    Running Generator/Cruise Control

I’ve always installed a battery cut of switch to keep generator from charging chassis battery when running generator going down road. I’ve done this for 35 years. Eliminates many possible problems and charging conflicts. Easy to install switch near isolator usually. This is type cutoff I’m using...

    Onan Generator Over Fueling Issue

If it’s hunting, it’s lean. If they’re flooded rich, they just die. Is it blowing black smoke out of exhaust before dying? Have you put a section of plastic fuel line to see what fuel pump Is doing?

    Grease Gun

If you have someone to pump the gun, wife, children, friends, or bystanders, you can put a 15’ or so hose on the gun and knock a grease job out easily in no time. Don’t need the bulky or locking ends and obviously can use both hands to hold fitting on zerk..

    rear end noise

Any play in rear wheel bearings? You can jack it up and stick a pry bar under duals and check for excess play. Eventually loose bearing will take out wheel seal. You said you had to add a pint of gear oil. Sometimes you can shine a flashlight into wheel assembly from underneath to check for...

On a couple of 30 amp nineties units we’ve had, I just wired 120 ac male/female plug in the generator box into the line going to the rear ac with male plug towards the ac. Had this happen in a self contained add on shower in my truck shop. We just fiberglassed the whole pan. Very clean, attractive, non slip repair.

Would You Buy A Suzuki Jimny For A TOAD, If Available?

We flat towed a 1992 Geo tracker, 4wd, hardtop for over 20 years Great vehicle. Weighed 2550# before we loaded it. I‘m a little over 6 feet ( or used to be) and I could wear a cowboy hat comfortably in it. Easy to get in and out of. Good power, great gas mileage, good all around vehicle. 1.6...

    Roadtrek Color Codes

I’d go to an auto paint supply shop and have then shoot the colors with their color gun. They’ll shoot in a half dozen places to try and work in any paint fade if it‘s for touch up or panel. If for full repaint, you’ll never now the difference. Good chance body paint is from manufacture. Paint...

    Tamper Proof Screws and Security

You could rivet it in. Possibly aluminum pop rivets if going into window frame. Larger aluminum rivets through wall would require lever type tool to set. Tool available at Harbor freight. A stainless steel washer under rivet head would be recommended.

    Black Tank Valve Hub Breaks

I would change the suspension to get up to around a 13’6” height. A low to the ground trailer of that length is just asking for trouble. Getting hung up on railroad crossing for example and a myriad other obstacles waiting to tear something up.
