Blew out the lines - did I miss anything?

If you are trying to save money the cost of the antifreeze is very small compared to repairing a frozen line in the underbelly of a trailer or motorhome. I always first blow out a much water as possible with air then completely fill the water system with antifreeze. Usually takes less than two...

Walkie Talkies can be very useful

When I am backing into an RV site, I call the wife on our cell phones. Then I set my phone on the consol with it in speaker mode. That way I do not have to hold the phone. There has never been a time we did not have cell coverage and if that were to happen then I would use our FRS radios.

My wife has an app that records her steps. The app recoded a couple thousand steps from our trip across I40.

I just went over I40 and between California and Kingman where I turned North is some the worst road I have traveled through the West.

    Small printer recommendations?

I wanted a laser because the printer is exposed to some very hot storage and long storage times. I got a wireless HP laserjet MFP M139W. Small printer that is also a scanner/copier. But it has been the most temperamental printer I have ever used. Very difficult to get connected to a Windows...

    Pex piping....do I need a regulator?

I use a cheap regulator. I have a pressure gauge and the regulator does keep my pressure below 60 psi even when not using any water. I also have a hot water heater surge tank on the cold water side. This serves two purposes. One helps the water pump from cycling when on the fresh water tank...

EV Vs ICE - Road taxes

You have shown the power generated in California but you have not shown where the power comes from that is used in California. I do not know the percentages, but I suspect there is a large percentage that is imported.

    Balance Beads, Good or Bad?

Can you name some of the tire manufactures that void warranty with some type of Documation

    Balance Beads, Good or Bad?

I install my balance beads after I have the tires dynamic balanced. The beads take care of any unbalance there may be from the brake drums. (on trailers I do not believe they balance the drums as I have never seen any weights welded on or machining to remove weight from the heavy side) Your...

Proper procedure to light the fridge

I always run the gas stove until I get a solid flame to purge all of the air out of the propane line before I try to light my fridge or gas furnace.

    Wet bolt suspension upgrades

I also have no comparison of brand of wet bolts to use. I suspect they are all from the same manufacture with different vendors. But I recommend you inspect each bolt to insure they have been drilled completely. I had several that had not been drilled completely. Check each one with a grease...

    Post a joke

The most common I lose or misplace is the 10mm and 15mm. Have you noticed that many wrench kits at Harbor Freight and some of the big names do not include a 15mm. Most bolts and nuts on my jeep are either 15mm or 10mm.
