    2005 JAYCO DESIGNER

Make sure that you check out the Jayco Owners Forum  http://www.jaycoowners.com/ You will find the most info there, we have a Jayco 2006, 29N and love it, after owning other brands over the years we also find Jayco to be better all around.  Happy Camping!

    Small crack in fiberglass

I had the same thing happen on my Jayco...same place, I did drill a small hole and sealed it....over a year ago...still holding.

    Porpoising is out of control!!

As a side note, I will be ordering a sway bar ASAP.  I had some crosswind which moved the trailer around a little but the passing semis put me in a couple white knuckle situations. Towing experts recommend 2 sway bars (one on each side of your hitch) for trailers over 24-26 feet in length...

    1974 23' prowler remodel

Hi JoeyB, looks like a fun project, as far as electrical...did they take out the inverter? If that is still there that will be half the battle, you should be able to tell what is 12 volt usually they used single wire to each accessory, and 110V is usually Romex or 3 wire in one casing like home...

    Roof AC not cooling well

Yes, I realize that cooling the TT is much differenty than cool air coming out of the vents which is not happening. The air coming out of the vent closest to the unit does not get cool, until the unit runs for 20 minutes or more then it's only a degree or so cooler. There is a guy near home here...

    Roof AC not cooling well

I have an 06 Jayco Jay Feather with the standard Coleman Mach series roof air. It doesn't cool well. I have had other TT's with this same air unit and you could hang meat if you cranked it down. I have removed the roof cover and cleaned the core and made sure that the fan was running to full...

    Quality built trailer

Hello, the best thing to do is go and look at trailers at your local dealers.....and look at more than just the floorplan and the fabrics and finishes, that's just show. Look hard at the fit and finishes and the materials used like hardwood cabinet doors, they all use pressed wood to a certain...

    Refrigerator "level" question

I would try it.....or just use leveling blocks when you park your TT, that way you will know for sure.

New to this forum...not new to RVing

Hello all, just checking in for the first time to this forum. We are not new to RVing as we have camped in many ways from tents (young...really young) to our '06 Jayco 29N which we love ( much older and need of a good bed). I need not forget to mention Belle (the wonder dog) our white Lab who...
