How much wind does it take for you to stop and wait?

I don't often notice, but its pretty simple for me, and mostly echoing comments above: If there is more than one "little wag", I slow down 5mph Its not happened yet, but if continuing the above gets me to too slow a speed to be on whatever roads I'm on, I'll have already figured out where I'm...

The worse USA cities to drive in are:

I totally get #1 being Chicago. My daughter lived there a few years after college. Drove a uhaul through the expressway system... I don't recommend that. I drove out west for June of 2021 from Michigan.. I took US 10 to Ludington, MI and took the SS Badger across to Wisconsin.. to avoid driving...

    Giving Starlink the boot?

This is part of the evolution of a data network. Not sure if anyone remembers when the iphone 5 came out.. hailed for 4g network. many bought it and it overwhelmed ATT 4g networks in major metro areas. Over time more towers were installed. A similar thing going on here, and especially depending...

    Post a joke

Years ago at Lake Cumberland, ky, some good ole boys told us they actually did this... bass boat, fish finder and blasting caps attached to something that sank. Scooped up whatever floated to the top ... 😂🤪

    Paying it forward...no thanks.

We don't see it that much, throw it away when we do. I've actually seen it more hiking and backpacking.. Garbage, hot/burning fires out in the woods and no one around.. We love our state and national parks; we're used to paying it forward by cleaning up after a handful of others in parks and...

1st time renting an RV. Question on returning and cleaning

They're going to turn it around and give it to the next person right away. It's the terms agreed to for the rental We rented a liteway outback 20 years ago, me, my late wife, our 2 kids and 2 more kids for 2 weeks. We cleaned it very well. There was something they found with a decorative pillow...

    The ten year rule

Another factor is how you handle it... If you call, handle them nicely, have a story to tell like I've heard here "it's x years old, but I keep it like new... Can I send a pic?" In 2020 I bought a 2000 model year pontoon boat. No trailer, no means to store. I had a dock, but no marina on Walled...

    App developer needed

Many stand alone devices host a hotspot as a chip function. Printers, Ring door bell, many home automation devices like thermostats, alexa do this for initial setup. It could be used in a sustained way too in this case, *maybe* do a little better distance than BT 5... 100 - 200 meters. Phone...

BT 5 extends over 100 meters. I have a BT 5 battery monitor , BT 5 on my phone and able to connect with it anywhere in the house and on property, even several houses away. Depending on the device's BT standard and what phone, you get a lot further than years past.
