The Mirada is on a Ford F53 motorhome chassis, right? The 2004 F53 does not have a Tow/Haul mode switch. Instead there is an Overdrive lock-out button on the end of the transmission shift lever. Press the button in and release to turn off overdrive (which is the normal mode). Press it again to reactivate Overdrive (it automatically returns to Overdrive mode if you shut the engine off). Turning off overdrive achieves some of what Tow/Haul does in later models, but is not as sophisticated.

This is covered in your Ford Motorhome Chassis Owner Manual on pages 28-29. If you don't have one, download from Ford at https://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/catalog/owner_guides/04motog1e.pdf
