We have a 2002 Coachman Mirada.  Our 30 amp power cord is not long enough to reach our power pole at the fish camp unless we park close to the pole.  Has anyone tried the extension cords, and do you recommend their use?  Thanks.

Yep  I use them and have for years. Available at all RV shops and even Wally World. Both 25' and longer.  I carry 2 25' and 2 50/30 AMP adaptors.  In case I lose one or if someone else needs one.

Assuming you mean 30 AMP extension cords they work fine. The longer you go the more voltage loss but I use one 25' extension cord plus our 35' 50 AMP builtin out to 60' regularly.

You can buy good 30Amp extension cords at many RV stores.  Camping World carries them and even some campgrounds will have them for sale.

So do many Walmarts.

i.e. Wally World as Shayne mentioned.  ;)  That's where I bought mine this summer, $35 for 30 feet with an orange LED in the receptacle (makes it visible in the dark).  Not bad at all.
