Why? At best, it would slightly reduce the amount that the 5er will rock as you walk around in it. That rocking really doesn't hurt a thing, and you will soon learn to ignore it. I often don't even bother to put my rear stabilizer jacks down,
Our 40ft Jayco has 6 legs down when the auto levelers get done (not including the 4 tires). Pretty solid and I do not have a king pin stablizer.
As for the wife? (Been there done that...her telling me what to do). She still tells me what to do and I decide whether to do it or not. No frying pan yet! LOL
