On my 1992 25 ft P30 chassis Fleetwood Flair what pressure should the front air bags be at?  I can't find anything about PSI.

Thanks,

If these are the helper air bags inside the coil springs, the ones on our P30 chassis were inflated to 50 psi, which I believe was max min pressure for them. They're small bags, so go easy with the air hose; It doesn't take a lot of air to get them to 50 psi.

I used to have mine at 75PSI, because Firestone recomended from 20-90PSI and I thought that would be about midway. Later I found out that 50PSI made the coach feel better when it came to bumps on the road. Now I have my front and back bags setup at 50PSI and get better smoother ride. Be mindful that weight will also play a role on the amount of pressure you will need.

I run my front Air Lift bags at 60 psi unless the road is very bumpy. Then I have been as low as 35 psi. This is on a 30' P30.

The Workhorse Chassis Guide says the minimum air bag pressure for a pre-1999 P Chassis is 50 psi and may go up to 90 psi on the heavier capacity axles.  Your 1992 probably has the 4800 lb front axle and they suggest 50-60 psi for that.

Here's a link to airlift's install instructions for for P30 40 min - 90 max for the motorhome chassis.

I keep mine around fifty and that seems to be a good presure for mine.

My memory was failing me. Gary's message reminded me that 50 psi was the minimum pressure for the bags on our P30 chassis (not max as I stated). That's probably why I ran them at 50 psi.

From my 1994 GM Southwind Storm manual....

Min 10psi to max 50psi for 4300lb front suspensions
Min 40psi to max 50psi for 5000 front suspensions
Min 60psi to max 100psi for 5500 front suspensions

My coach has the 4800lb front suspension so the max will be 50psi but the min is likely 25-30 as opposed to the 10psi for the 4300lb front suspension.
