I've moved my new camper into a seasonal site and plan on leaving it there for the next 2-3 years.
I might take it out once or twice a year on a short 200-300 mile trip, but it will stay put the rest of the time (It's our lake lodge).
Thinking of saving some money longer term by replacing my 6.4L F250 with a 2012 F150 Eco boost with Max Tow package.
The 2012 will increase payload to 2400+lbs and tow a max of 11200 lbs.
Other folks are reporting 17-19 MPH mixed with the 2011 EB (non towing - only 8-10 towing). My F250, as a daily driver gets at best 12.
Our 2012 Salem 312QBUb came in at 8700lbs loaded when I went to the scales.
So, anyone towing +8500lbs with an Eco boost and care to share their results and impressions of the truck?
