I have a 2016 atwood heater in my toy hauler that won't turn on when its below 60 degrees. works fine over that temp, you can hear the t-stat call for heat but nothing. Has anyone experienced this problem? if so what was the fix?

Some smarter folks will be along shortly with better answers hopefully.

Best guess is that when the temp drops that things contract with the cold maybe causing a bad connection somewhere.  I would one by one disconnect each connection on the water heater clean it and reconnect it.  Hope this helps solve the issue.

Does the furnace fan start? It sounds as though the circuit board develops a internal short or open when the temperature changes. Unusual, but possible.  Could also be a corroded wire connection where the wire harness joins the circuit board.  Some recent model Atwoods have had a problem with rain water entering via the outside access door and damaging the circuit board or connections.
