I originally mounted the T handle under the cap as I'd seen done in the installation video. In a turn on uneven ground the truck tilted enough to crush the handle between the trailer and the side rail of the truck bed. It cut some nasty gouges into the plastic underside of the cap. I moved the handle to the side of the pinbox. It's a short reach from the rear even with the tailgate down.

VERY INTERESTING!!

My camper had no metal framing supporting the plastic panel that covers the area, so I simply attached it to that, knowing it is a two hand operation.  Next time I am connected, I will look at a possible relocation.

I used a HD magnet that had a hole in the center. Used a screw to hold it to magnet and stuck it on the king pin on the side. Got magnet at harbor freight I believe.
