Hey guys I have an awning that got an arm bent from a storm,i bought the new assembly and cant figure put how to remove these fasteners,Any help would be wonderful.F4CBB683-3529-4511-A53A-79972C8D9E7D.jpeg
 
It's called a push nut. There's no way to "unfasten" it. Use a diagonal wire cutter or abrasive wheel to cut through the outer edge and twist it off. Then use what you have there to source replacements.

Well I knew someone would have an answer, Thanks Mark,that helps when looking for a replacement.
 
If you use needle-nose pliers to bend a couple of the tabs back, it will loosen up enough to pull it off. But don't try to bend it back and reuse the push nut. That may work, but it's not worth the risk. Any hardware or automotive store should have push nuts available.
