Black water connection

2007 adv. 38t the rubber connectors just before the waste valve is bad and needs to be replaced ,  has anyone done this project? It is the 3 inch by 3 in rubber sleeve with two radiator clamps on ea. side. Thanks in advance for any help

A 3" rubber sleeve (joint coupler) is a standard plumbing item and should be available at Lowes, Depot, or a plumbing supply or hardware store. Often in varying lengths.

They are known as "no hub" in the parlance of plumbers.

If you can see it, that's half the battle won. I had to remove a metal panel to access mine.

Another tip---drain and flush the tanks first. ;D

As John mentioned removing, or cutting away some of the metal plate, will make the job much easier.
