Buffalo Border Crossing choices

From Michigan will be going on the north side of Lake Erie on our way to Cape Cod and points north.  We will reenter the US near Buffalo.  I understand that there are multiple choices of crossing points.  Is one crossing point more efficient / less crowded than another?  Just trying to be as efficient as possible...

We prefer using the Queenston/Lewiston crossing via the 405 when we travel from MI to NY. It's usually not hugely backed up, but all of the crossings have their good and bad times. This link is useful for checking wait times at the various crossing points:

From MI into Ontario, we normally use the Port Huron/Sarnia crossing, and the wait times can be found here:
