Thanks for the info on 58 and I-5 gas.  I plan to fill up before I get to 210, so 58 should be about right for a next stop.

Carl:? Thanks for the reminder on the speed limit and the lane usage requirements for CA.? Now that you mention it, I think I recall the signs.? A lot of them refer to cars towing trailers, but I always? figure they also mean this newfangled concept of motorhomes towing cars.?

Yew betcha as other folks have said in this thread.    I got buzzed once for being in the fast lane with a Suburban towing a single axle, 500 lb, Coleman utility trailer.  The whole rig looked like a whale being chased by a lustful guppy.  Cop gave me the full lecture on the subject and let me off without a ticket.
