Can you ID these outside clips?

I have these little fold out clips on the bottom of my slide out and along the side of the coach in front of the slide? Does anyone know what they are or what they might be used for?

I have some clips that look like that, mine are for holding a basement door open

Usually they are used to hold a basement compartment door or something similar in an open position.  From your second picture it seems pretty clear that they are intended to grab the side edge of the door and hold it open while you dig for that long lost goodie buried int he back corner.

Thanks for your quick replies... I could not get the image files to load on this forum so I changed them  to direct links. Gonna go figure that out right now as I am a RV newbie and I am full of questions... ??? ???

I will also go try the clips out. I don't have anything for them to latch to on my basement doors, that I am aware of, and it definately would not work with the slide out.

Those basement door latches are great.. ;D
I just tried them out, had it been a snake, it would have bitten me.  Sometimes I think about things way too much and fail to see the simple solution right in front of me...Thanks again.
