We are also considering parks in Nevada and Arizona, after hearing so much about the high prices in CA.

You might be interested in Sunflower RV Resort in Surprise, AZ. We've been there twice and it's a lot of fun! I've written about it twice in our blog. I listed a lot of what's available there in the January 2011 posting called, "We Found It". I'm sure there's a lot I didn't include in the post.
